Uruapan, Michoacan's oldest hotel
Hotel Mi Solar is a manor house built during the end of the 1800's. In 1943 it was remodelled as a hotel shortly after the eruption of the Paricutin Volcano, which drew curious visitors from around the globe to the then town of Uruapan. Mi Solar exudes the Uruapan of yesteryear when important artists, bullfighters and politicians sojourned here to enjoy the area's perfect weather. Its unique architecture has been completely restored breathing new life to the original structure.
